The Brake & Clutch building was built in the 1930’s and operated as Brake & Clutch Service Co. until the 80’s. The venue was renovated & reopened in 2017 as an industrial vibe event space.
Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL) is small, easy to navigate & about 7 miles from the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Dallas. When you are at the baggage claim, ride the escalator downstairs & walk outside to the rideshare area to catch your uber or lyft.
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is about 20 miles from the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Dallas. This airport is huge. I have no tips. Sorry!
Our hotel block is at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Dallas, which is less than 2 miles from the venue.
NOTE: There will be a shuttle to and from the venue on the day of the wedding.
The wedding rehearsal will be 4PM to 5PM at Brake & Clutch Warehouse.
The rehearsal dinner for the wedding party & family will be 6PM to 9PM at the rooftop lounge of Saint Rocco's New York Italian (3011 Gulden Lane #100). *The entrance to the rooftop is on the BACKSIDE of the restaurant, which is across from Babb Brother's BBQ. Look for the awning over the steps. The restaurant is a short uber, lyft, or taxi ride from the hotel.
We haven't set a specific attire for our wedding guests, but we know our crowd & we predict a blend of dressy casual and cocktail attire.
For those that like to know the details - Bridesmaids will be in a dusty rose color & groomsmen will be in a modern navy color (it's lighter than the classic navy).
The bus will pickup wedding guests outside the Hilton Garden Inn at 4PM and 4:15PM. Please be ready! There will be beer & corn hole to keep y'all entertained before the ceremony 🙂
Pickup at Brake & Clutch Warehouse will begin after the grand exit at 10PM. The bus will take guests back to the Hilton Garden Inn only.
Both the ceremony & reception will take place inside at Brake & Clutch Warehouse (3601 Main St #120). The entrance to the venue is on Exposition Avenue, and it is through the large wooden gate directly to the left of the elephant mural (you won't miss it!).
Please note that parking is extremely limited for this venue. We encourage you to utilize the shuttle to and from the Hilton Garden Inn, but if you prefer to drive, we recommend referencing the map below for available parking options (click on the image to make it larger).

A traditional wedding registry seemed redundant since Brenden & I have been fortunate enough to build a home together for the past two years. Experiences have always been an important, fulfilling part of our relationship together, and chasing down our Irish roots seems like the perfect way to celebrate our first year as husband & wife.
